Q: What is Black Issues?
A: Black Issues of Buffalo is a group of residents,
committed to deliver Urban Technology Project (UTP)
to inner-cities' disadvantaged, minority and/or
designated at-risk residents. BIB also collaborates
with other community-based organizations to increase
public awareness of lateral projects.
Q: How did Black Issues get its start?
A: Begun as a virtual organization on the global Internet,
BIB has evolved into an urban technology advocate. Visit

Q: Who initiated Black Issues of Buffalo (BIB)?
A: Sherry Sherrill-Patton is founder. Ms. Patton, a former
computer industry professional, is also a wife, citizen-
activist and microenterprise entrepreneur.
Q: How will Black Issues collaborate with other community-
based organizations?
A: BIB will increase public awareness of community-oriented
groups and topics via electronic "bulletin boards". Our
boards, actually called "newsgroups", are entitled:
Community Blackboard, Townhall and Jobs.

A: No.

A: In the sense that BIB addresses inclusive programming and
content, access and familiarity with computers and the
Internet on behalf of minority groups. . .yes.
