[AABS 97] [UDCP] [UTP]

African American Business Summit 1997

Black Issues of Buffalo, in conjunction with a local
community organization, will be coordinating this year's
AABS event in Buffalo, New York, the Great Lake's reknowned
"City of Good Neighbors".

Last year, more than 100 current entrepreneurs attended an
information-intensive event, that also was graced by the
presence of many local elected officials and a foreign
diplomat.

This year's AABS will be even BIGGER, with private industry
committing to come out in full force. For more information
on how your company, bank or group may attend, participate
and/or sponsor this worthy cause contact Sherry Patton at:

Urban Technology Project (UTP)

Our goal for UTP is to promote techno-literacy in areas where
minority, disadvantaged, and/or designated at-risk constituency
is disproportionately higher than their overall representation
within a city's total population.

In other words, our "vision" is of inner-cities evolving from
places of lost hope and disenfranchised citizenry, into avenues
of opportunity and generations of citizen participation.

For more info regarding UTP, call Sherry Patton: (716) 835-2489.
